We are seeking a LATAM Market Lead to join our team in MX or BRZ. In this pivotal role, you will adapt global procurement strategies to the realities of the LATAM market, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations, leveraging supply markets across LATAM, and partnering with business leadership to deliver value at the market unit level. You will be responsible for driving sourcing execution, supplier performance, and risk management across all business units and categories in the region.

As part of the Sourcing & Procurement team, you will:

  • Shape local execution of procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with global category direction and local business needs.
  • Build and manage strong supplier partnerships across LATAM, including logistics, cash management, security services, technology, and indirect categories.
  • Deliver sustainable value and cost savings, supporting Brink's procurement strategy and operational excellence in the LATAM Market.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Impact

  • Serve as the procurement business partner to Market Unit leadership, aligning sourcing priorities with business objectives and operational plans for LATAM.
  • Adapt and execute global category strategies to fit market unit requirements, local regulations, and supply market conditions.
  • Provide market and regulatory intelligence to inform sourcing and category decisions, including monitoring changes in tax law, import/export regulations, labor requirements, and supplier risk.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Legal, Security, IT) to ensure sourcing strategies address local needs and operational goals.
  • Lead sourcing, contracting, and supplier negotiations where local nuances, language, or regulatory requirements are critical.
  • Capture business demand and drive adoption of sourcing playbooks and best practices across the LATAM market.

Performance Metrics & Accountability

  • Value Delivery: Savings vs. target, cost avoidance, local supply opportunities captured​.
  • Compliance & Risk: % Policy adherence, contract compliance, local regulatory compliance, supplier risk incidents​.
  • Operational Performance: Timely execution of sourcing events, P2P cycle times, adoption of Coupa/SynOps processes.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and escalate regional risks, opportunities, and innovations to Market and Category Leaders.
  • Promote continuous improvement through proactive engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive supplier diversity, sustainability, and digitalization initiatives tailored to the Southern Cone market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles with proven success leading local or regional sourcing projects in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, or Paraguay.
  • Strong knowledge of LATAM supply markets, regulations, and supplier landscapes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing execution, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions, cultures, and languages to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with global procurement standards.
  • Skilled in cross-cultural communication and partnership within complex organizational structures.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Strong commitment with demonstrated experience in fostering inclusive teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required.
