We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic BGS and IMEA & APAC Operations Excellence Leader to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will play a critical part as the Operations team, contributing to our ongoing success and strategic goals. As part of the Operations Function, you will be responsible to lead the design and execution of strategies that deliver world-class operations management, driving 3% year-on-year productivity improvement and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline across all functions.
Productivity & Efficiency
Deliver minimum 3% YoY productivity improvement through process optimization and waste elimination.
Implement world-class operations management practices to maximize resource utilization and reduce cost-to-serve.
LEAN & Process Improvement
Deploy LEAN tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management) across operations.
Facilitate Kaizen events and Gemba walks to identify inefficiencies and drive actionable improvements.
Standardize processes and procedures to ensure scalability and consistency.
Customer Satisfaction
Improve operational processes to enhance service quality and customer experience.
Collaborate with commercial and customer service teams to align operational improvements with client expectations.
Change Management & Capability Building
Develop training programs to build internal expertise in LEAN and continuous improvement.
Act as a change agent, ensuring adoption of new processes and tools across the organization.
Governance & Reporting
Establish governance frameworks for Operational Excellence initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
10+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or industrial engineering within logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing sectors.
Proven track record of implementing LEAN, Kaizen, and Gemba practices at scale.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in English.
