The Director, HR Business Partner - Global AMS serves as the HR leader for the Global ATM Managed Services (AMS) business, partnering directly with senior AMS leadership to shape and deliver the people strategy in support of growth, service delivery, and operational performance.
This role is focused on strategic business partnership, organizational effectiveness, and workforce strategy, ensuring AMS is structured, resourced, and led to scale globally. The Director operates as a key advisor to the business, translating strategy into clear organizational and talent outcomes, while leveraging Employee Services and HR COEs for execution.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Business Partnership
Serve as the HR business partner to Global AMS, owning and driving the people strategy aligned to business goals, growth priorities, and service delivery outcomes
Partner with AMS leadership to shape decisions related to structure, talent, and operating model evolution
Act as a trusted advisor, bringing a point of view and influencing leadership on organizational and talent priorities
Organizational Design & Effectiveness
Lead organizational design efforts to ensure clarity in roles, accountability, and global ways of working
Drive improvements in team effectiveness, productivity, and scalability as AMS continues to grow
Align organizational structure with service delivery requirements and global consistency
Talent Strategy & Leadership Development
Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership discussions across AMS
Define strategies to build capability in critical roles and strengthen leadership bench
Partner with leaders to accelerate development of key talent and address capability gaps
Transformation & Business Evolution
Partner with AMS leadership to embed transformation initiatives into the organization, including process, technology, and service model changes
Ensure organizational readiness and leader alignment to support new ways of working
Identify and address organizational and talent risks that could impact execution
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience serving as a lead HR Business Partner to a global business or function, with clear ownership of people strategy and organizational outcomes
Proven track record of influencing senior business leaders on organization design, talent strategy, and workforce decisions
Experience supporting operations-driven, service-based, or technology-enabled businesses, ideally in global or multi-market environments
Demonstrated impact in scaling organizations, including aligning structure, talent, and capabilities to support growth and service delivery
Experience operating in transformation environments, including embedding new ways of working, supporting business evolution, and managing change at scale
Strong capability in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy, with the ability to translate business priorities into clear people actions
Experience working within a modern HR operating model, effectively leveraging COEs and shared/employee services without duplicating transactional work
Comfort navigating global complexity and matrixed environments, balancing enterprise alignment with business-specific needs
Strong analytical mindset, with experience using workforce data and insights to inform decisions on structure, performance, and investment
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master's in HR/OD, or related field) preferred
